Design Kiosk is back: the Salone del Mobile in the city

Appointment in the heart of Milan from 1 to 13 April with outstanding figures in the world of design and a selection of editorial products and design objects. A temporary space by DWA Design Studio in Piazza della Scala

After the success of the first edition, Design Kiosk is back as an outpost of the Salone del Mobile.Milano in the city, from 1 to 13 April, offering a meeting point for a series of presentations including books, independent magazines, design objects and a series of limited edition posters.

After the first edition which featured leading figures in the design universe, such as Stefano Boeri, Luca Nichetto, Parasite2.0 and Cino Zucchi, this year Design Kiosk renews its invitation to speakers called on to share their creative vision and their close ties with publishing. The 2025 edition, moderated by journalist Serena Scarpello, will see the participation of special guests such as Piero Lissoni, Federica Biasi, Giulia Ricci e Alessandro Valenti, Aldo Cibic, Stephen Burks e Malika Leiper, Olimpia Zagnoli e Pietro Corraini.

Entrusted to Corraini Edizioni and designed by DWA-Design Studio, Design Kiosk is located in Piazza della Scala, a strategic location in a busy square close to the cathedral. The purpose, again this year, is to spread the culture of design by involving professionals and design lovers.

The project also renews the Event’s commitment to sustainability, recognized by ISO 20121 certification, a path in progress expressed in the sustainable management of the event and the commitment to raise awareness among exhibitors in the adoption of the Green Guidelines of the Salone in their exhibit designs. With this in mind, Design Kiosk highlights the centrality of reuse in the sector: the installation is the result of the optimization of the pre-existing structure designed by DWA-Design Studio.

Design Kiosk will be open from 1 to 13 April, from 10 am to 7 pm.
