Of the many city events being held during “supersalone” week, we’d like to flag up these at the Albini, Castiglioni and Magistretti Foundations. Three places of culture, Milanese stories and lessons in design.

Achille Castiglioni foundation

From 5th to 11th September the Foundation will be open for guided tours in Italian, English and French.

On the hour, every hour, from 10am to 5pm. Booking essential at: fondazione@achillecastiglioni.it.

Visits. Green Passes (European Digital Covid Certificates) must be displayed, and masks are mandatory.

Re-editions of some of Castiglioni’s pieces will be on display at the Foundation:

- PARENTESI Anniversary 50 lamp for Flos (Exhibited at the Flos shop in Corso Monforte)

- POLET armchair-bed for Twils (Exhibited by Elle Decor at Palazzo Bovara)

- CENTO3 writing set and the new Ego.m accessories (Exhibited at true design focal points throughout the city)

Photographs of the selected apartments and the winner of the 1st edition of the Achille Castiglioni Design & Hospitality Award launched by the voluntary OspitaMI Association, which has been committed from the outset to high quality home sharing and hospitality.

Inspired by the Chinese game of Mah-Jong, the exhibition narrates Magistretti’s work as an architect and designer, in his Milan studio and his ties to the city.
