“supersalone” opening party at Triennale Milano
Icons on display, the magic of performing trees, Marco Mengoni’s exciting and moving notes and all the protagonists of creativity.
On Saturday evening, there was an Academy Awards (of design) night vibe at the Triennale where took place one of the most eagerly-awaited inaugurations in two years now, the one of Salone del Mobile.Milano. It doesn't matter if it will be "only" a “supersalone”: everyone was there to toast with Maria Porro, Claudio Feltrin and Stefano Boeri. A sign that something is starting again, for real, that the creativity flame didn’t extinguished. A sign that Milan is the capital (moral and not only) of Design. Let’s start again from here, to re-meet, shake hands, imagine the projects of tomorrow. The emotion and joy, after so much effort and effort, could not only be breathed but also touched by hand. Among architects, designers, creatives, artists, entrepreneurs, politicians, publishers there were: Beppe Sala, Cristina Tajani, Alessandro Cattelan, Victoria Cabello, Manuel Agnelli, Renato Pozzetto, Fabio Novembre, Pasquale Junior Natuzzi, Claudio Luti, Giulia Molteni, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Roberto Palomba, Giulio Cappellini and many others…
Marco Mengoni opened the Salone del Mobile 2021 last night, 4th September, with a unique live performance, Marco Risuona, at Triennale, featuring a number of his hits including an original version of his latest single Ma Stasera, which has just netted a platinum disc. Open to visitors as of today among the trees of the Forestami Wood, the sound installation RESONANTREES PERFORMING MARCO MENGONI is built around Mengoni’s voice and songs and produced by the sound artist Federico Ortica, who is also exhibiting at “supersalone” at the Rho Milan Fairgrounds. Mengoni will be performing in an Italian stadium for the first time at San Siro on 19th June and at the Olimpico in Rome on 22nd June, with his concert Marco negli Stadi.
