As the Chief Commercial Officer of the Starhotels Group, I oversee a multifaceted portfolio encompassing Sales, Marketing, Revenue, and Distribution for the Group's 30 prestigious properties.
With a dedicated team of 85 professionals under my guidance, I am committed to driving growth and excellence across our hospitality ventures.
Prior to assuming this pivotal role, I served as the Cluster General Manager of the Collezione Division within Starhotels. In this capacity, I orchestrated the operational and financial strategies for 11 distinguished properties spanning Italy, the UK, and France, while spearheading a team of 8 adept General Managers.
My journey in hospitality leadership includes noteworthy positions such as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Europe for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, where I operated from the illustrious setting of Monaco. Additionally, I've contributed as Director of Global Accounts for MPI - Meetings Professionals International, stationed in Luxembourg, and as Area Director of Sales & Marketing for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
Earlier in my career, I honed my skills as a General Manager at the Park Hotel Ravenna in Italy, following formative experiences at iconic London establishments including Claridge’s Hotel and the Grosvenor House Hotel.
My academic pursuits complement my professional trajectory, having obtained the CMM (Certificate in Meeting Management) from MPI in collaboration with Cornell University, alongside the CHBA (Certificate in Hospitality Business Acumen) from HSMAI. My commitment to continuous learning recently led me to complete the AVIRA course at the INSEAD School of Business.
Beyond my corporate endeavors, I am deeply engaged in various professional associations, having held positions such as Vice President of the Hotelier Association of Ravenna and Vice President of Skal International in Monaco. I've also had the privilege of serving as President of MPI Italy, contributing to the GBTA European Hotels Committee, and holding roles on the International Board of Directors of MPI. Currently, I am honored to serve as Vice Chair of Finance for the MPI Foundation Global Board of Trustees.
On a personal note, I am an avid runner, having conquered ten marathons across the globe.
Family holds paramount importance in my life, and I am blessed to reside in Florence with my partner Francesca and our cherished children, Alessandro and Leonardo.
