Claudia Ferri was born in Pescara in 1980. After living for many years in Rome, she moved to Milan, where she currently lives, working as a freelancer in various areas of photography. Her work varies between portraiture – investigating the physiognomic change from puberty to adolescence – and contextual photography, analyzing the circumstances that change environments depending upon the people who live in them. She has shot for Off White, Gucci, Missoni, Fondazione Prada, Nike, X Factor, Mutina, Pretziada, and Triennale di Milano. Her work has been published, among others, in Magazine 11, Monocle, Konfekt, Rivista Studio, Alla Carta, Urban, Esquire, Hunter Magazine, Punkt, Grazia, and Vogue.
