A humanities-based education followed by a degree in Foreign Literature and Languages – and then a specialisation in journalism (her thesis was on the journalistic narration of 40 years of apartheid in South Africa) and a Masters in Business Communication – enabled her to embark immediately on a career involving information, public relations and events organisation.
After almost 20 years in international communication agencies and press offices, which involved a great deal of travel and short spells of work abroad (London and New York), she struck out on her own as a storyteller, digital copywriter and strategic consultant in product communication. Meanwhile she undertook an Executive Masters in Sales & Marketing run by ESADE and SDA Bocconi, which entailed more than a year studying and working in Milan, Madrid and Barcelona.
She has always worked professionally with clients from the design, fashion and lifestyle sector, and closely with creatives, architects, designers and influencers. She joined the Salone del Mobile.Milano in 2016, initially in the International Press Office, moving to the Italian Press Office in 2018, where she is also responsible for coordinating and drawing up editorial content for the various trade fair platforms.
