Knot by knot, these carpets are crafted using centuries-old techniques in renowned manufactories in Kathmandu (Nepal), Agra (India), and the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The true star of every creation is the material itself: Hand-spun highland wool, the finest silk, and exquisite nettle fiber give the visionary designs a rich texture – an additional, tangible dimension of artistry.

Each piece seamlessly fuses traditional craftsmanship with a progressive design language. Archaic patterns merge with urban coolness, classical ornaments dissolve into abstract worlds of color.

Principles of the Bauhaus

The CONCEPT collection is a tribute to the beauty of minimalism. The rugs combine minimalist design with perfect craftsmanship. The ADJA designs follow the principles of Bauhaus: generous dimensions, clear lines and a subtle color palette. This restraint allows the Tibetan highland wool, the soul of each rug, to be shown in all its splendor.

It is a play on tradition and deconstruction - in ERASED ARTWORK traditional patterns are alienated, structures dissolve, ornaments erode until only hints, fragile surfaces and blurred layers of color remain. A controlled decay that opens up new aesthetic spaces.

SPECTRUM SUPREME

Light and Ornament

Inspired by the dazzling northern lights in the sky over Siberia, Jan Kath has created the Spectrum collection. In the latest designs in this series, he combines the fascinating, iridescent play of light with classic ornaments. They are elegantly framed, grounding the fleeting lightness of the light reflections in design terms. It is therefore not without reason that the collection bears the nickname “Supreme”, which underlines the exceptional quality and expressiveness of these rugs.
