Lambert & Fils is a Canadian contemporary design studio that explores the many shapes of light by creating original collections and collaborating with emerging designers around the world.
Through its exploration of new design technologies, Lambert & Fils investigates the many shapes of light—meditating on voids, volumes and the importance of matière première—materials as a point of origin.
Preserving the bond between design and making, all lighting is handmade in the Lambert & Fils atelier in the heart of Montreal. Beyond the scope of the collection catalogue, the studio’s bespoke team works and dreams with some of the world’s most inspiring design studios and architecture firms—creating groundbreaking spaces at every scale. Leveraging our expertise as makers and designers, we easily adapt to a project's technical needs and volume requirements.
Since 2019, in collaboration with DWA Design Studio, Lambert & Fils have hosted the award-winning Caffè Populaire events, a series of pop-up bar concepts bringing people and design into dynamic encounters during Milan Design Week.
Whether large-scale custom installations or a single piece from one of our collections, Lambert & Fils lighting lives in homes, work spaces, restaurants, hotels, galleries, and many other spaces around the world.
Part of Lambert & Fils' Euroluce 2025 installation will focus on Ipoli, a collection centered on the movement of playful pivoting heads on a slender base, combining a youthful, almost mischievous essence with the timeless aesthetics of the work lamp.
Milan Design Week 2024. Intimate and overgrown, DWA Design studio opened their enchanting garden for the European launch of Lambert & Fils’ collection ISLE in collaboration with Canadian designer Zoë Mowat.
Milan Design Week 2022. Lambert & Fils and DWA Design Studio present the second edition of Caffè Populaire, in collaboration with SUPERFLOWER. Set in a beautiful historical temple and gardens, the installation offered an eight-day aperitivo event for the launch of the Silo Collection.
