Atelier Tapis Rouge is a productive synergy between artistic vision, expert skills coupled with timeless hand-knotted techniques from Nepal. We can recreate any rug from existing collections and adjust to any size, shape or color, adding or removing elements in order to completely fulfill your vision.

We offer an exclusive, rare, personalized service. The design, color, shape, material as well as size can be personalized and designed based on your ideas, mood boards, special memories or even images.

More than 500 people day by day are working carefully to design, knot and deliver your rug. Like in symphonic orchestra everyone is doing his best to make sure that you receive the product of the best quality in time.

Production

All Tapis Rouge rugs are produced in Nepal by hand, using a more than a century year old hand knotting technique. The rugs are created, cut and washed by the Atelier’s Nepalese team with the use of only elementary tools and natural materials - wool, silk, cashmere, nettle.

Our production helps to support community of skilled masters and their families and ensures that the ancient techniques are passed to the next generations.
