Wewood – Portuguese Joinery is a Portuguese heritage design brand specialized in designing, manufacturing & exporting timeless furniture characterized by enduring aesthetics and functionality.
Our story starts in 1964 with two brothers working together in a small joinery workshop in the north of Portugal. Through the years, that workshop grew and became the company "Móveis Carlos Alfredo" which is specialized in manufacturing & exporting solid wood furniture for more than five decades.
The brand Wewood - Portuguese Joinery was founded in 2012, by the second generation of owners of that same company, after four years of hard work to raise a design house proud of its heritage and grounded in the principles of quality of the materials, durable construction and timeless design.
