The reflector’s rotatory movement around the central articulation constantly describes new spheres. Designed in 1968 by Elio Martinelli, the Cobra represents one of the first resin lighting fixtures produced with a special moulding system. The lamp is characterised by a simple line and a geometric shape inscribed in a sphere, but with the rotation of the arm the reflector assumes a position that recalls the head of a cobra ready to shoot. The Cobra lamp came in the standard colour white and later black. On the occasion of its 50th anniversary it is offered in the signature version in red.On the occasion of Elio Martinelli's 100th birthday, a numbered, limited and signed edition of the Cobra lamp is presented in the special yellow colour.A re-edition that focuses on a colour variant, preserving intact the magnetism of Cobra's shapes: yellow, the colour of a memory, of a deep meaning that goes beyond mere aesthetics. Designed by Elio Martinelli Product Overview Product Details Product description Table lamp providing direct light, consisting of two moulded resin bodies in white, black, red or yellow.
