The Agave collection, designed by García Cumini for Barovier&Toso, pays tribute to the beauty and symbolism of the plant it’s named after. Its distinctive silhouette and modular design reinterpret the natural elegance of the agave.
This project celebrates the tradition of Venetian slab glass through its iconic elongated leaves, enriched by a dew-like texture—a historic technique—and refined decorative nuances that give the surface an irregular, dynamic appearance. The interplay of refractions and shadows created by light passing through the glass evokes the magic of sunlight filtering through agave leaves, turning illumination into a poetic experience. Agave embodies a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, exploring new expressive possibilities to pay tribute to nature and the emotions it can inspire, while also highlighting the artisanal excellence of Barovier&Toso.
