Ceramica Cielo INTRODUCES

Marcel

Category: Washbasins

Marcel by Ceramica Cielo, design Andrea Parisio Giuseppe Pezzano

The new Marcel by Ceramica Cielo, designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, the innovative ceramic washbasin proposed here in the glossy Bianco finish, structure in solid natural ash wood and drawer in natural ash wood, with front in Vienna straw.  The environment is completed by the Round Box 75 mirror in the Anemone finish and the ring-shaped towel holder in a matt Nero finish.

Marcel by Ceramica CIELO: a perfect blend of tradition and innovation

Ceramica Cielo presents Marcel, the new washbasin whose concept is inspired by the sinuous yet rational shapes of the Bauhaus and the elegance and essentiality of the production of curved solid wood furniture and Vienna straw, a distinctive feature of the Thonet family, reinterpreted in a contemporary way by designers Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano.

With Marcel the company continues its design path in which traditional craftsmanship and innovation interact: the result is an iconic model is born that captures the essence of the past and at the same time is an expression of new trends in living.

A solution that brings elegance, lightness and design to the bathroom, in which the softness of the ceramic is enhanced by a game of balance between different materials and intertwined textures.

The “fil rouge” of this unprecedented proposal, which guarantees an aesthetic continuum between the elements, is the craftsmanship: Ceramica Cielo’s skilful use of ceramic modelling, in its many nuances, combines synergistically with the cabinetmaker’s ability, the curvature of the ash and the refined weaving of the rush (Vienna Straw).  The result is a distinctive product, a perfect example of mastery of the company’s unique Italian craftsmanship.

The protagonist is always the ceramic which, moulded by the skilled hands of the expert craftsmen of Ceramica Cielo, renders the washbasin extremely pleasing both to the eye and to the touch.  Available in the suspended or countertop version – on a structure or surface – the latter is proposed in the glossy white and the matte and glossy finishes of the “Terre” and “Acque di Cielo” colour palettes.

Born from the constant search for the perfect balance between formal rationality and quality of materials, Marcel is made even more functional and unique by the structure, enhanced by the sinuous design of the drawer unit – with the front covered in Vienna Straw – both proposed in natural or black-stained ash wood.

To make the bathroom environment even more distinctive, this iconic piece is completed by the Marcel mirror cabinet with double door and front in Vienna Straw, echoing the front of the drawer unit, ensuring maximum stylistic coherence and compositional freedom.

Marcel is a true style manifesto, a further declination of the creative language of Ceramica Cielo, a harmonious synthesis of refinement and contemporaneity, of attention to detail and high quality standards, values that make the company a symbol of Made in Italy excellence throughout the world.
