Round Bed Petalo is a circular seating element with a 180 cm diameter, designed to elevate the concept of outdoor conviviality. Created to be the focal point of any space, this daybed stands out for its three padded, reclining petals of different sizes, attached through a friction hinge system that ensures smooth and adjustable movement.
The Petalo armchair, with its compact yet inviting structure (126 x 81 x 100 cm), evokes the image of a flower’s corolla opening to the light. The rear petals transform into an adjustable backrest and armrests, creating an ergonomic and dynamic system that embraces the body and enhances the feeling of comfort.
The supporting structure is made of multi-layered wood, housing a differentiated-density polyurethane foam padding with a layer of resinated Dacron. The technical upholstery combines two high-performance fabrics: LEAF, featuring a botanical-inspired pattern and UV-resistant, and TRUNK, a smooth, draining fabric used for the seat.
Fioriture is the generative concept from which the two elements of the collection originate: Petalo Round Bed and Petalo Armchair, inspired by the organic geometries of the plant world, reinterpreted through a contemporary design language.
