The Lineasette workshop was established in Marostica, known as the City of Chess. In the heart of the town, between the majestic walls surrounding the hill, is the evocative Piazza Castello. It is here, in this square steeped in history and tradition, that the epic chess game with living characters takes place every two years, thus preserving an ancient tradition spanning centuries.

The chess pieces of the set feature profiles and grooves that evoke the imposing walls of Marostica. Crafted by master artisans in porcelain stoneware, are characterized by the matte, rough, and monochromatic coating, distinctive of each Lineasette creation.
Piazza Castello is crafted from premium woods with a natural finish, allowing the natural beauty and essence of the wood to be fully expressed through its grains and knots. The meticulously handcrafted inlay creates a captivating composition of light and dark squares, adding further depth and charm to the overall aesthetics of the chessboard.
