Lodes is delighted to announce the launch of the Tidal suspension lamp, complementing the ceiling version to create a new family of lamps distinguished by exceptional luminous efficiency. The suspension lamp retains the fluid design that characterises the collection by Needs Studio while incorporating key innovations to optimise lighting performance.

All technical components are hidden within the lamp’s compact, slim body – especially impressive given its light source of over 6,000 lumens – enhancing the object’s aesthetic appeal and striking design, which makes the lamp appear different depending on how it is viewed from below. Light is projected downwards and upwards simultaneously with a perfect 50-50 balance between direct and indirect light. The dual ignition allows the intensity and projection of the light to be adjusted, expanding the possibilities for customised lighting already present in the two dimmable ceiling versions.

The fluid and impactful design captures the essence of the movements of celestial bodies, waves, and tides. The lamps appear different depending on how they are viewed from below, thanks to the rings’ irregular shape.
