Like standing among a swarm of buzzing bright lights, Flock of Light captures the magic of a warm summer evening and adds a sense of warmth to your space.
Flock of Light by Studio Toer tells the story of nature with lights inspired by the movement of fireflies. Fine bronze wires create elegant, curved lines while the brass cups and LED diffusers act as glowing beetles dancing in the air.
Studio Toer is a Dutch multidisciplinary design collective with a strong exploratory and experimental approach. Founded in 2011 by Castor Bours (1984) and Wouter Widdershoven (1986); their work push both the technical and aesthetic limits of design within the world of applied arts. They create innovative light objects & installations and interactive experiences. Evolutionary elements and a suggestion of movement are ever-present in all of their projects.
The Flock of Light, designed by Studio Toer, mimics the phenomenon of glowing swarms found in nature. Studio Toer’s first design for Moooi brings a bright, warm and poetic glow right after dark. Flock of Light is available in two sizes and features dimmable LED light sources.
