With Vico Magistretti it would always happen that ideas were born during a conversation.

With the Club, we were mulling over the sense of comfort when it popped up to make a leather-covered door-handle that would be pleasant to the touch.

Vico thought along industrial lines by designing two tapered shells to which the leather covering could be glued, giving continuity to the shape while eliminating the stitched seam, which is usually the first part to become dirty and worn out.

I immediately thought this proposal was interesting and inventive, meaning it merited to be developed.

And now, the Club model has received an extraordinary coat in new colours from Poltrona Frau palette.
