The Babylon sofa design Alessandro La Spada is a bestseller of the Visionnaire collection of upholstered furniture. Conceived as an architectural project, Babylon is defined by clean and linear volumes with handcrafted details of the highest tailoring.
The sofa's back is characterized by the insertion of lightly padded panels to form an abstract geometric pattern and inserts in satinized steel with logo. A project that recalls the rigor and purity of Mondrian's drawings, the harmony and balance of the relationships between lines, materials and surfaces. The upper surface of the smooth armrest, wide enough to make it comfortable in the support of the arms, is enhanced by the insertion of a perimeter profile in brushed stainless steel. Available in linear or modular versions, the Babylon sofa is enriched in its configuration thanks to the possibility of inserting a low table with a marble top and an upholstered magazine rack between the padded modules.
