Patrick Rimoux

The Light for Spaces Masterclasses aim to provide an understanding in depth of artificial lighting and its impact on the perception, functionality, and aesthetics of architecture. Through a multidisciplinary approach, participants explore design strategies that integrate technological innovation, sustainability and the cultural value of light. Aesthetics, functionality and sustainability applied to the theme of architectural lighting are the focus of the work of Patrick Rimoux, an artist and sculptor of light famous for his works on urban monuments, his collaborations with Wim Wenders, Akira Kurosawa and Bollywood and, more recently, for the new lighting of Notre-Dame de Paris.

Architects registered with Italian CNAPPC (National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscapers and Conservationists) can earn 10 CFP by attending The Euroluce International Lighting Forum (5 CFP for Thursday, April 10th, and 5 CFP for Friday, April 11th). Access is free with a Salone del Mobile admission ticket. To ensure credit recognition, pre-registration to the following forms is recommended: The Euroluce International Lighting Forum | Light for Spaces
