Sustainable set-up
On the occasion of the 2025 edition, the Salone del Mobile.Milano is reiterating its commitment to an increasingly sustainable organisation of the trade fair and invites exhibiting companies to become co-promoters of this virtuous renewal.
The ethical path towards the ever greater sustainability of the event starts with the design of eco-friendly exhibition spaces and includes environmentally friendly, accessibility and inclusion practices, not only in creation of the stands but also in the organisation of the entire stand experience.
The Salone has been refining its ‘green’ design guidelines, further updating them for 2025 with a view to forging a shared effort to reduce environmental impact. Exhibitors are asked to integrate not only aesthetic considerations, but also a commitment to sustainable, circular and innovative solutions into their design process; they are called upon to take a more structured approach to the sustainable management of materials from the very beginning of the design process, with the adoption of a proper post-event disposal plan. Reducing environmental impact is no longer an option but a collective responsibility, which also represents a unique opportunity to drive up the competitiveness of the entire sector.
In an ever-changing world, the adoption of sustainable practices is not only a duty, but a great opportunity to build a better future, combining competitiveness and respect for the planet.
