Discover the Salone’s Library
A selection of titles recommended by key figures in the sector, curators, journalists, architects and international designers who took part in the cycle of Talks and Round Tables at the event’s 2024 edition
With the establishment of the Salone's Library, presented during the April edition, the Salone enriches its role as a cultural catalyst, a center of innovation and planning, but also an interdisciplinary laboratory where creativity and business life meet.
The Salone's Library has brought together a selection of over 120 titles recommended by the speakers, comprising curators, journalists, architects and international designers, who took part in the cycle of Talks and Round Tables, together with a selection of designers and key figures who share the Salone’s vision. These are precious works that have changed the lives of those who chose them, being capable of evoking, stirring and giving rise to debate, while helping us understand the complexity of the present and navigate a way through it.
From 16 to 21 April, the Library developed in the Arena Drafting Futures designed by Formafantasma: a veritable stage where some of the most important figures in the world of design followed each other through the week to share ideas and visions, stirring debate and giving rise to discussions with visitors to the event.
Today, the Salone's Library is an archive constantly being being enriched and updated for the whole community of design lovers. The contents comprise more than just design and architecture, ranging from essays to novels, biographies and philosophical texts. From edition to edition, the Salone's Library will expand to welcome new and brilliant reading materials that stand out by the depth of their contents.
