Salone del Mobile.Milano 2024: early bird tickets from 20th February
Cut-price tickets for the upcoming edition, from 16th to 21st April, are now officially available. Here’s everything you need to know
The Salone del Mobile.Milano 2024 is creeping closer. As of 20th February, early bird cut-price tickets will go on sale for the edition slated for 16th to 21st April at Rho Fiera Milano. The 62nd edition promises to be full of new things, previewed over the last few months during Road to Salone 2024, a multi-stop road show in the main European and international cities, and unveiled at the press conference held at the Piccolo Teatro Strehler.
The many new departures include the new communication campaign put together by Publicis Groupe with the input of Artificial Intelligence, and with the scientific collaboration of Paolo Ciuccarelli, Professor of Design and founder of DensityDesign Lab at Milan Polytechnic University and of the Center for Design at Boston’s Northeastern University. The development, the evolution of the format and the visitor experience of the Biennials dedicated to Bathrooms and Kitchens is down to the renewed collaboration with Lombardini22.
This year’s edition will see a packed cultural programme, including talks and round tables, and will also boast three big installations: Interiors by David Lynch. A Thinking Room (Pavilions 5-7), the site-specific installation devised by David Lynch, Under the Surface (Pavilions 6-10) designed and created by Emiliano Ponzi, Accurat and Design Group Italia for the International Bathroom Exhibition and the project All You Have Ever Wanted to Know About Food Design in Six Performances, in which six independent magazines bring food and design to life at EuroCucina Then, to mark the 25th anniversary of SaloneSatellite, there’s a dedicated exhibition at Triennale as well as the event in Pavilions 5-7.
Salone del Mobile 2024: tickets available online as of 20th February
Tickets for the 62nd edition are available to pre-order online, at a reduced rate, from Tuesday 20th February until 11.59pm (CEST) on Friday 12th April. They will grant access to all the trade fair events: the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Workplace3.0, S.Project, EuroCucina, the International Bathroom Exhibition, and SaloneSatellite, the talks, the round tables and the installations. As of this year, a single six-day ticket is available to professionals. The trade fair is restricted to industry professionals, but will be open to the public on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April, while student visits have been scheduled for 19th, 20th and 21st April.
In order to ensure an increasingly streamlined visitor experience, from the purchase of tickets onwards, as of this year the registration and purchasing process has been optimised. Once purchased, tickets are sent out by email and can also be downloaded from the Riepilogo Ordini/Order Summary section of the reserved area of the website.
The trade fair is restricted to industry professionals in possession of single, six-day tickets, from 9.30am to 6.30pm. It will be open to the public on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April, while student visits have been scheduled for 19th, 20th and 21st April. A faster, ad hoc procedure has been implemented for schools and travel agencies, which allows multiple tickets to be registered simultaneously.
