Stefano is Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer andWally’s(a brand of Ferretti Group) Managing Director. After graduating in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at the University College London (voted University of the year in 2024 by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024) he gained an MBA from the University of Sciences and Technology in Hong Kong in Business Administration – Strategy & Entrepreneurship career track.
His yachting career began with the most recognized brand in the history of yachting: Riva first as a Project Manager and then he was appointed as World After Sales Manager and later asGreater China and Asia Pacific Manager. Following his experience at Riva and until 2011, he had a significant experience as Sales & Marketing Director and Vice President of Sales at Benetti yachts. He then further developed his career as a consultant for top international groups advising in different fields (from fashion to automotive) with a specific focus on the Asia Pacific market.
In June 2014 he has been appointed as Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer with responsibilities for the Group’s products and sales strategies. Since then, he has been part of the reinforcement, beyond measure, of Ferretti Group’s strategic and financial strength, that, in ten years, drove to the tripling of the Group’s turnover and contributed to the renewal and implementation of the Group’s product range thanks to constant investments in innovation, design and technology.
Leading the entry of Wally in Ferretti Group’s portfolio, in January 2019 he has also been appointed as Managing Director of the brand.
Stefano is a passionate sailorwho crossed the Mediterranean Sea non-stop on a 6,5 m sailing yacht as well as the Atlantic Ocean with a 55’ sailing yacht. When not traveling for business he enjoys scuba diving, backpacking traveling, skiing, bbqing and spending the best time with his baby girl and his wife. He also has a strong passion for classic cars and motorbikes and is a very proud owner of a convertible Volkswagen Beatle from 1976 and a Lambretta from 1952. As a natural philanthropist, he is an active supporter of Cascina Rinascita, a project of rebirth dedicated to help women who experienced violence and their children. He has recently been appointed President of the Superyacht Life Foundation that highlights the human stories, experiences, and contributions that make the superyacht industry vibrant and meaningful as well as shares a fresh perspective on the positive people, places, and projects associated with the world of superyachts.
