Kente Cabinet has a simple and refined design: Slender legs support a perfectly proportioned two-door coctail cabinet. Its structure is made of charcoal-finished oak and on its doors are inset textile covered blocks in orange and black. The colors symbolizing ancestral strength, spiritual purity, and prosperity are arranged in horizontal and vertical lines, resembling the basket weave of the authentic Kente fabric. Often referred to as “the cloth of kings”, the name Kente belongs to one of the most significant and esteemed indigenous textiles from the Mother Continent.
