Layers. From the infinite time of rock, the art of sculpture, craft techniques combined with technology and sustainability. From the past converted into experiences that garnish innovation. A sensibility that subverts the rigidity of stone in the lightness of authorial design. Layers superimposed, in the composition of the whole that reveals the Itaoca Armchair. Exclusively developed by Estúdio Sérgio Matos for Tresore Design, the piece marks the intersection between purity extracted from nature and creation that routes a new perspective and meaning under the umbrella of concreteness. The concept of the Itaoca armchair is based on a noble raw material that is part of Brazil's biodiversity and heritage. Itaoca, which in the indigenous Tupi language means “stone house” or “bored stone,” incorporates into the design the translation of shelter and belonging; of welcome and comfort; of dwelling for the senses and sensations. A meeting of the beauty of soapstone (steatite) and the sophistication of the computerized sculptural process. Hands and machines, talent and precision. Minimalist lines that enhance the aged green stone express the refinement of the rough block transformed into delicacy. Specializing in conceptual products made from Brazilian natural stone, Tresore Design blends art and technique in the careful execution of three-dimensional modeling and cutting with diamond cutters, culminating in the excellence of the proposed form in the final act of hand polishing. The sinuous aesthetic of the Itaoca Armchair emphasizes the soft stone's low porosity, high durability, and resistance to staining and heat. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, its sculptural dimension shows the poetic gesture of creation. Itaoca, which means “stone house” in the indigenous Tupi language, embodies the translation of refuge and belonging, of welcome, of the senses and sensations. Founded in 2022, Tresore Design is a Brazilian brand that transforms natural stones into unique furniture, combining art, technique and sophistication. The company combines tradition and innovation, using artisanal and industrial techniques to create furniture that celebrates the beauty and exclusivity of natural materials. With an approach that fuses concept, technology and functionality, Tresore is dedicated to creating timeless pieces that transcend trends and become true icons in the daily lives of its customers. Its collections are distinguished by the balance between minimalist forms, the visual impact of stone, and the application of advanced technologies such as CNC machining and high-precision finishes. In addition, the company values Brazilianness and sustainability, using consciously formed domestic materials and promoting design as an expression of Brazilian culture on the global stage. Each creation reflects a commitment to uniqueness, where beauty, sophistication, and utility meet in harmony.
