Caorlina - beech chair with plywood backrest and padded seat upholstered with fabric
Caorlina was born as a popular, multifunctional and efficient boat.
Agile, spacious, symmetrical: a structure preserved overtime.
This symmetry determines the design of this chiar: a tribute to the boat that connects the islands to the mainland.
The wooden chair, inspired by the classical seats of the ‘800 featuring woven cane, recalls the Italian craftsmanship of woodworking with a contemporary twist.
The linear and conical legs meet the smoothness of the backrest and the woven cane seat, which allows one to customise the chair as he pleases with two other variants, which are the padded upholstered seat or the plywood seat, in order to allow further flexibility of colours and finishes.
