Morosina is a padded dining chair designed with elegant old town city-center restaurants and charming tea rooms in mind—places where tradition meets contemporary style.
A generously cushioned seat is embraced by a suspended frame that serves as support for the enveloping backrest.
Morosina is a composition of pure geometric forms: the seat is a perfect circle, while the backrest takes the shape of an apse, blending the softness of an arch with a sharp diagonal cut on the side.
The name takes inspiration from the Dogaressa Morosina Morosini, the splendor of tradition and the elegance of 17th-century Venice.
