Amongst Vincent van Gogh’s various paintings, there are a number that feature chairs. Simple, solid, traditional chairs of type that, more than a century ago, could be found in every country house. The Vincent v. G. is inspired by these, a collection designed by Werther Toffoloni that brings together ancient and modern, solidity and lightness, art and design.
Werther Toffoloni was born in Udine in 1930. After having studied in Venice, he taught industrial design and quickly started working in various design sectors and as an artistic consultant. He was quite prolific and undoubtedly a major player in Italian industrial design. Creativity, a thorough knowledge of materials, and a great eye for functionality were the hallmarks of his corpus of work. He died in 2017, at the age of 86.

Fleuron
In the Fleuron chair and lounge chair by Constance Guisset the rationality of the design, based on the idea of a buttress that reinforces a wall, meets the softness of a curved line.
COROLLA
Cristina Celestino designs a lounge collection with soft and harmonious shapes. The rounded volumes are lightened by the worked wood base, Billiani’s stylistic code.
SPY
Spy is an extensive and complete collection of chairs, lounge chairs, armchairs, tables and coffee tables. Its leitmotif is the design of the leg, which tapers and is slightly splayed.

Archetype-A
Archetype-A is a wooden chair designed by Mario Alessiani that celebrates the company’s origins and know-how. The design is as simple as possible. Nothing more than four legs, a seat and a back.

Puccio
The Puccio collection started life based on milking stools, perfectly designless and designer-free seating which, thanks to its functionality, has survived unchanged through the centuries.
FRISÉE
Frisée is a collection that combines the solidity of wood with an ironic and joyful frivolity.
VERETTA
Soft lines and simple geometry describe the contours of the Veretta chair, characterized by the feature ring in curved solid beechwood that surrounds the seat and houses the backrest.
Flow
Flow is a short compendium of the history of the chair – a perfect combination of Italian tradition and the Scandinavian aesthetic of the 1950s and 1960s.
CROISSANT
Billiani opened up to the world of upholstery with a rich collection that includes side, arm and lounge chairs, barstool, sofa, pouf, bench and table.
