The new CRIXT486 shower column stands out for its geometric rigour, while maintaining a particular delicacy of detail and unquestionable accuracy of finish.
The new CRIXT486 shower column that stems from the Thermo Up thermostatic mixer, designed by Makio Hasuike & Co in collaboration with the CRISTINA Design Lab (the company) three years ago. Equipped with a distinctive character of its own, CRIXT486 stands out for its geometric rigour, while maintaining a particular delicacy of detail and unquestionable accuracy of finish. The small shelf that extends above the control determines its self-sufficiency, because it can be used to place objects, making any other accessory unnecessary, a detail that is especially useful in small shower cabins. "In order to optimise production and to guarantee the harmony of the ensemble, the overhead shower is aligned with the shelf, reaffirming the same layout and proportion". Instead of violating, this up-and-down asymmetry ultimately enhances this geometric interplay.
"It took two years of work, tests and prototypes to achieve the final product: designing a shower column is more complex than designing a tap. It is necessary to maintain a balanced aesthetics that is compatible with the other collections that are already part of the offer, and to consider determining factors like the linear production process".
