A collection of lamps in molten lava, an innovative experiment in the world of lighting. Produced by salvaging waste from the crafting of volcanic stone, the pieces have a unique texture marked by imperfections, craters and bubbles. Available with three forms, for combination in a series, to emit precise downward lighting. “Unlike marble, lava is not quarried: it is gathered directly from the mountain. After an eruption the magma settles, becoming part of the terrain and forming blocks of lavic stone that can be crafted. The cutting process generates a large quantity of surplus chips, which we wanted to salvage.
