A chandelier that plays with lightness and presence, between the softness of the textile cables and the rigid geometry of the arms. Its sculptural but dynamic form takes on compositional balance in asymmetry, changing from every angle. The luminous elements at the extremities of the arms create the ethereal effect of a suspended flame, relying on the light pipes concept. “For Allumette I followed a different inspiration, built on the idea of the original light source, the candle, and the triangulation of the arms, whose geometry and variable lengths permit a shifting of the barycentre. Its asymmetry is one of the most important keys of interpretation: it has been envisioned as choreography, a presence that changes depending on the angle of observation. Then there is a magical moment when the light crosses the lamp and transfigures it completely. The light source is composed of transparent tubes, fastened to the arms. The LED light runs inside them, igniting their extremities, like small flames suspended in space. The result is a sense of discovery, an unusual object that nevertheless transmits an intimate familiarity.” Designed by Francesca Lanzavecchia Share BRAND SELECTIONOUR PRODUCTS Etoile New Product Foscarini Etoile Transparency and volumes for a timeless style: Etoile is a chandelier that combines rigor and refinement, in which the cylindrical volumes are arranged in compositions that replace traditional deco Fields New Product Foscarini Fields The iconic graphic geometry of Fields, now entirely redesigned and adapted for LED technology with a contemporary aesthetic language.
