BD BARCELONA

BD is a furniture design company from Barcelona, comprised of architects, publishers, and designers unbound by conventional market rules. Since 1972, it has been fostering progress and generating awareness about the potential of design.

At Salone del Mobile 2025, BD Barcelona presents ECLIPSO, the latest and most playful collection by Jaime Hayon for BD. It includes dining, cafe, coffee, and side tables, chairs, stools, and shelving units—all available in various sizes and color combinations to suit contemporary needs. ECLIPSO marks BD Barcelona’s first collection designed for a more accessible price range. Made in Europe, it is available for both residential and hospitality settings.

DESIGN SINCE 1972

Founded in a nightclub in 1972 by young architects and designers in Barcelona, BD introduced a bold vision: producing designs with complete creative freedom. Collaborations with designers like Ettore Sottsass, Rennie Mackintosh, and Álvaro Siza helped place Spain on the global design map, with many of these timeless pieces still in production today.

BD represents established and emerging designers as well as historically significant design heritages. We aim to expand the design dialogue, exploring new perspectives and territories to push the contemporary design culture forward year after year
