Modius

According to designer Hanne Willmann, Modius has clear, straight lines, but the sofa is also wonderfully curved. This creates a beautiful upholstery detail where the back and arm meet. This shows that Willmann, who has already designed several models for Leolux, knows what Leolux upholsterers are capable of: 'It may look easy at first glance, but any upholsterer will understand that it is very difficult to get these straight and curved lines right in one design'.

Designer Hanne Willmann wanted Modius to have two uses: 'With an upright sofa, people think you can only sit on it. But then you lie down on Modius. It is so comfortable. The armrest is at the perfect angle, you put your head down and you can relax. You don't even need a cushion, you just sink in and relax.’
