Tupi is the name of the people who lived in South America, mainly in Brazil. These peoples lived in harmony with nature, building their villages and open spaces where conviviality and connection with the land were fundamental.
The structure of the chair and sofa, with braided rope sides, refers to the handicraft weaving techniques that the Tupi mastered, both in making hammocks and in their baskets and utensils.
