David Plaisant is a freelance journalist and writer based in Italy. He began his career in London, where he worked in architecture and design advocacy groups and then as a design writer and radio producer for multimedia brand Monocle. Plaisant has created various podcasts including The Couch, Conversations on Design (B&B Italia) and in 2021, From the Moon for the Triennale Milano.

Swiss photographer, graphic designer and publisher Nicolas Polli (1989) studied Art Direction at the Ecole Cantonale d'Art de Lausanne (ECAL). In 2012 he co-founded the photographic magazine YET with Salvatore Vitale. In 2016 he began developing an independent studio, Atelier CIAO, specialising in editorial design and still life photography with a focus on design and luxury. He was the recipient of the 2018 and 2020 Swiss Design Award. After experiences with several publishers, he founded his own publishing house CIAO PRESS.

Emiliano Ponzi is an illustrator and author based in Milan.

He works for the editorial, magazine, fashion and advertising market. His clients portfolio includes: Apple, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Le Monde, MoMA NY, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Martini, Hyundai, Pirelli, Tim, Barilla, Moleskine, Android, Einaudi, La Repubblica, Airbnb, Lavazza, Bulgari.

Maria Porro, born in Como in 1983, has been President of Assarredo since being unanimously elected in September 2020, and is the first woman to take on this role.  

Born in Tuscany in 1992, Guglielmo Profeti’s work encompasses fashion photography and his own composite personal research through portraits, text and temporary sculptures. In both cases, he adopts a conceptual approach based on research and theoretical investigation, portraying irrational dichotomies superimposed upon the delicacy of human dynamics, identifying organic patterns within in-organic contexts, adding a surreal dimension by drawing on real elements.

An architect who lives and works in Milan. He was editor of Casabella magazine and editor-in-chief of the design magazine MODO.

He was a member of the Radical Design groups. He helped coordinate the Visual Arts-Architecture section at the Venice Biennale in 1975-76, as well as organising the Europe/America exhibition.

A Milan-based journalist, she took her degree in Film Studies while working on the launch of the online site of La Repubblica’s weekly style magazine D and learning to be a writer as she went along. She discovered her passion for design and architecture, in particular the socio-cultural trends that these disciplines intercept and interweave with other fields, from fashion to art. This has kept her busy for the last 20 years or so, writing for leading print and online national and international publications.

University professor, cultural adviser and manager for national and international institutions, artistic director and curator, Davide Rampello has started his career in RAI Italian National TV during the 70’s as historical researcher, author and then director of cultural programmes and tv director. From 1992 to 1994 he worked as artistic director of the Carnival of Venice and during the 90’s he was the curator of important art exhibitions that took place in locations such as the Biennale and the Galleria dell’Accademia in Venice or the Diamanti Palace in Ferrara.

Giulia is deputy editor of About: and Elledecor.it. She became a registered journalist after her training in architecture at IUAV University of Venice, the Milan Polytechnic and KU Leuven in Brussels. She was part of the editorial team of Domus from 2018 to 2024. Since 2022, she is part of the technical-scientific committee for Culture of the Foundation of the board of the Architects of Milan and its province. She is an advisor to the EUMiesAwards, the Italian Architecture Prize and the Gubbio Prize.

Patrick Rimoux is a light sculptor. After training to teach new technologies, he went on to study at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. This unleashed his creativity as he embarked on a passionate exploration of the many applications of light: cinema, photography, architecture, painting, sculpture.

Christian Rocca is Editorial Director of Linkiesta. He has edited the magazine IL, has been a special correspondent and columnist for Il Sole 24 ORE, a columnist for La Stampa and correspondent in the United States for Il Foglio. He has written eight essays on the themes of geopolitics and contemporary society. His latest book is “L’Ucraina siamo noi” (2024).

For over 40 years, Pierre-Yves Rochon has been a global leader in luxury interior design. Founded in Paris in 1979, his studio, PYR, transforms prestigious hotels, restaurants, and private residences into timeless symbols of elegance. Iconic projects include the Four Seasons George V, the Dorchester in London, the Danieli in Venice and the Waldorf Astoria in New York. Renowned for blending heritage with modernity, Rochon redefines luxury living with meticulously crafted interiors.

Designer and critic, born in Trieste in 1958, he graduated in Architecture in Genoa in 1983. In 1984 he obtained a master's degree in design at the Domus Academy, he worked in Mario Bellini’s atelier and in 1986 he opened his own studio in Milan. From 1986 to 1994 he was editor of Domus magazine, from 1995 to 2007 of Abitare magazine, and from 2010 to 2021 – at his death – columnist in Inventario magazine.

Alessandro Ronchi was born in Monza in 1982 and still lives in Lombardy. He is involved with culture in the round and with cinema and the visual arts in particular. He has worked with a number of magazines and reviews, including Domus, Esquire, Icon Design, Artribune, Exibart and Gli Spietati and the literary column in Yanez magazine. He also works with art galleries, festivals, gatherings and educational institutions.

Dutch artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde (1979) is a creative thinker and maker of social designs which explore the relation between people, technology and space.

He founded Studio Roosegaarde in 2007, where he works with his team of designers and engineers towards a better future. Together they develop ‘Landscapes of the Future’ building smart sustainable prototypes for the cities of tomorrow.

Anna Roscio is born in Turin, where she graduated in Economics in 1989. She started to work as an auditor for Coopers &Lybrand. After this experience and an MBA, she arrived in 1991 in what was at the time called Istituto Bancario Sanpaolo di Torino.
