BOLID was created from polished steel using FiDU – originally for the Pirelli flagship store in Milan. The mirror in the shape of a longboard is an inspirational product made in highly innovative technology.
BOLID, designed by Oskar Zieta and available at Zieta Studio, is a unique mirrored object and a sculpture: a decorative version of the streamlined longboard’s form, an alternative “mean of transport” in the contemporary urban landscape that will fit a modern interior: whether a minimalist apartment or an extravagant loft. It will take you straight to the border between art and design.
The dynamic shape of a wooden board, adjusted to the laws of aerodynamics, has been translated by Zieta Studio to steel, a material widely explored by Oskar Zieta in his cutting-edge collection of mirrors, chairs and tables. It turns out the longboard’s strong shape inflated in steel gains a gentle, organic aspect.
