The ocean is nature's most imposing masterpiece, where currents dance in shades of deep blue and waves sculpt fluid and dynamic shapes. This piece translates the grandeur of the sea into undulating textures and pearlescent nuances, referring to the light that reflects on the surface of the waters. The design evokes the harmony between movement and immensity, bringing the feeling of depth and mystery. Between the currents, fish glide smoothly, following the natural flow of the tides, composing an underwater ballet that reinforces the perfect synergy between life and movement. The fluidity and diversity of this ecosystem translates to the unparalleled richness of the oceans, where each element fits into a symphony of shapes and colors. This year, the brand takes an even bolder step with by Kamy Verde by establishing an exclusive collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, one of the world’s largest media and entertainment conglomerates.
As part of this partnership, by Kamy launches a collection inspired by the Discovery Channel franchise—globally recognized for its productions on science, the environment, technology, and history—subjects that deeply resonate with by Kamy’s DNA.
Both the embroiderers from the social project 1+1+by Kamy and the artisans from the by Kamy Verde atelier embraced the challenge of interpreting the naturally captivating scenes shown across Discovery Channel’s platforms, adding new visual perspectives through embroidery and textile fragments.
The thicker skin of a reptile is highlighted with a more elaborate, voluminous stitch. The fin of a fish is rendered with a smoother, cleaner line. Through the use of embroidery and fragments, each piece gains new impact, merging the beauty of nature with the art of weaving to honor what Earth offers us.
For nearly a decade, by Kamy Verde has been dedicated to repurposing carpet fragments from its production into new products—elevating them through design as the element that restores their value. Additionally, the atelier allows for customization of pieces from the brand’s regular portfolio, offering the unique difference of upcycled design construction.
It was from this perspective—inside out and outside in—that by Kamy created the first—and still the only—upcycling initiative in the Brazilian carpet and tapestry market.
Fragment by fragment, the artisans of by Kamy Verde transform into unique pieces the designs created by the Studio by Kamy, as well as those from designers, architects, visual artists, companies, and creatives—just like in the 1+1+by Kamy project.
With high-quality handcrafted work, the pieces reaffirm the brands’ commitment to preserving ancestral traditions, while also upholding a deep sense of responsibility to the planet.
More than presenting exclusive collections, by Kamy invites visitors to witness the convergence of techniques, materials, cultures, and inspirations—brought to life by hands of different generations and perspectives, united under the light of design and a shared passion for nature.
